About.
Data Compliance China (DCC) is an editorial publication and research tool for Chinese data-protection law. DCC translates and edits public Chinese-language commentary so overseas readers get context, not just literal translation.
The focus is practical: PIPL, data export rules, cybersecurity review, algorithm governance, regulatory enforcement, and the people shaping the conversation inside China.
Translation Policy
Every translated piece names the original author, publication, date, and source link. The English version is edited for clarity and context, but legal terminology stays anchored to the source text and the project glossary.
When a translation needs broader background, that context belongs in an editor’s note — never silently inserted into the original author’s argument.
Author Requests
If you are an original author and want a correction, attribution update, or removal, contact details will be added before public launch.
This publication is editorial commentary and translation work — not legal advice.
